Both for Italians living abroad and those residing temporarily, the Consulates aim to perform some of the functions that in Argentine territory are carried out by Public Administration bodies.

As we mentioned, there are 9 General Consulates of Italy in Argentina and 46 Dependent Honorary Offices (Note: citizenship can only be processed at the consulates, not at the honorary offices).
